     I am very passionate about these sessions for two reasons.  First of all, most women don't realize what a gift it is to have a man who enjoys seeing them in this way in photographs.  For the men who do enjoy it, you NEED TO FEED IT LADIES!  It's better for him to have photographs of the one he loves to admire versus some Victoria Secret model he could care less about!  God made them this way and there is nothing wrong with feeding his admiration!  The added bonus of using myself is that I am female.  The main objection men have to these sessions is that they don't want another man photographing their lady like this.  You don't have to worry about that hiring me!
     Second, most women feel vulnerable no matter what physical shape she is in.  We all would love to see ourselves airbrushed, hair done, and looking sexy like the models in the magazines.  Thank goodness for digital photography because I can do that for you!  Of course, if you prefer yourself in raw form, that can be done as well.  I have the most wonderful make-up artist who does airbrush makeup in the most natural way or moody if you prefer.  Between the two of us, we produce very happy clients.  I love to hear my clients talk about how they will never show anyone their albums, but when they get them, they want to show all of their friends.  It's so rewarding to see people feeling good about themselves in these albums for their men.  It's also great to hear the men be so appreciative!

Here are some more examples of different things to wear.  You are allowed one wardrobe change.  Once again, only few people let me use their photographs so please understand that there are endless possibilities I can suggest for wardrobe options.    The most important thing is to make sure whatever you wear fits well!  Livi Rae Lingerie can customize lingerie for you if you need special sizing.

 

 

   

Sweet Family from Marietta!

This wonderful family from Marietta was referred to me and I was so excited when I saw how sweet they were with each other.  Mom also did a fantastic job with the outfits!  It's nice when the phone consultations completely pay off!

I found this awesome sweet spot to take their photos!  I love it when the sun is just perfect to backlight my subjects!  Our session was early in the morning, but this is why it's worth getting up a little extra early!

There's so many things I love about this photo, from how both of them have beautiful hair, the gorgeous purple hair accessory, the faces being backlit by the sun, and the sweetness of the relationship!

A little behind the scenes! 

The little miss was still waking up through most of the session and that girl LOVES her daddy so I think I got off one or two perfectly good shots without her in it, but will crop in on the rest she is in.

This is AFTER the lollipop I gave her!  I have learned a little sugar might be just what the doctor ordered if I have a sleepy or shy child.

Alpharetta Location Photography

This mom hired me to come take some simple portraits of her third child in her backyard with the beautiful blue hydrangeas.  I had so many funny pictures of all her expressions!  They make me laugh more than the mothers.  I have to admire the moms who take time out of their busy schedules to make sure the third and fourth siblings get some equal picture time!  This particular sweet girl was very expressive and loved her Cookie Monster, whom you will see in the last photograph!

"Yes, I love my mom's garden of beautiful hydrangeas"

"Yes, you are funny and you are making me laugh.  Mom is funny too!"

She was probably really laughing, knowing all the photoshop she was causing me to do in the future due to her playing in mom's beautiful, fresh dark mulch that was poured on the ground.

" I'd rather be eating the flower now, where is my food anyway?"

"O.K., now I am DONE!  Where is my MOM?"

This of course, CRACKS ME UP!  I love to capture the end of their patience levels!  By the way, that beautiful green moss is what mom covered up with dark mulch!  

Charlie & Ashley| Matilda Jane Mini-Session

 I have been MIA on the blogging scene, but after this session, I knew I had to make time for a post.  This sweet brother and sister were my first mini-session which means I have limited time to work with and they were 18 months and 3 years old.  It started off with Ms. Ashley turning from me every time she saw my lens.  Brother Charlie then was telling her, "jump, jump!" as she was walking around a fountain with water about 3 feet deep.  Needless to say, I decided to move to a different spot.  I kept getting this "what are you following me" and "who are you looking at" face from my sweet 18 month old.  It looked like this...

Mom of course really needed one of them together.  Charlie was happy to oblige, but Ms. Ashley didn't want brother hugging or touching her.  We asked Charlie to hold Ashley's hand while she was running.  I shot this quick photo and realized that was not a good idea unless we wanted Ms. Ashley to fall and have a black eye.  He was running at his pace, not hers...

When we sat them down together, but Ashley had no desire to sit and Charlie would push her aside and say, "run, run, run"!  So, I decided I had to do something extreme to get and keep their attention for a couple shots.  I had bought several different flowers and decided to put one in my mouth and acting like I was eating it.  This was the initial reaction I got...

Now, she's really thinking I am crazy!  As you can see, she is ready to get up, but we gave her a few flowers and fortunately, we were able to catch a few quick shots.

It was good until she decided to follow in my footsteps and taste the flower like I did!  OOPS!!!

Thank God this mother was awesome and laughing her head off like myself.  I am lucky that my shutter speed was fast enough to make up for my camera shake while laughing!  Charlie was in his own world acting as if the flowers were making him sneeze.  This is what makes photographing children and their little personalities so fun for me!

Sweet brother is making sure she is alright!

I was surprised with this shot when editing because I didn't realize how cute it was when I took it.  It looks like they are totally rocking out into flower microphones!  Love my job!

Sweet Sisters| Buford Family Photography

I LOVE these two sweet, funny girls and their eyes are just killer!  It's so hard to pick which ones to post on here because they were so sweet and laughing in so many of the photos but that's not what people usually pick for their walls.  I was so glad we had a great session because it was so cold and the session I did with them last year was freezing as well.

Cousins| Dunwoody Location Photographer

Now is the time of year where I get calls to do extended family sessions either as gifts or just because family is coming in town and everyone will be together.  One of these families just had beautiful beach portraits done with another photographer in Florida and her husband still accommodated her to do this session as well.  I can promise you that 80% of men would never do two sessions in one year, so kudos to him and kudos to the families for capturing this time in their lives!

No heads, eyes, or anything had to be replaced in this one... yeah!

 How cute are these two little cousins? This one is just priceless!

 

This little man started off by telling me all about his Nikon!  He will either be a hobbyist photographer or a professional one day.  He has more interest and knowledge in cameras for his age than anyone I have ever met!
